Training and Development

Avon offers opportunities for training and development to help Team Members build a strong foundation for individual and company success, and to ensure our Team Members are meeting the demands of the ever-changing labor market.

At an individual level, Team Members participate in goal setting, mid-year and annual performance reviews. We focus on sharing career aspirations, outlining performance and development goals, providing relevant feedback, and establishing action plans.

Avon offers training initiatives to Team Members that focus on necessary skills that affect the business. We also provide tuition reimbursement to Team Members who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a job-related field.


Team Member Engagement and Events

Our Intranet site is available to all Team Members, as well as market Intranet sites with information relevant to local Team Members, including written and video messages from senior leaders.

We host fun events throughout the year including an annual company-wide Halloween contest and Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest. Avon also celebrates national holidays and offers a wide variety of wellness activities.

Our goal is for these Diversity Networks to help connect Team Members with others that they do not organically engage with in their day-to-day work, encourage them to develop diverse perspectives, foster innovation, inspire cross-functional teamwork and make a positive impact on the organization. These Networks are designed to encourage diversity and inclusion among Team Members at all levels. Below are the current Diversity Networks.

Health & Safety

Avon is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for Team Members, contract employees and visitors.

We work to ensure all sites meet regulatory and safety standards. We have established stringent internal safety requirements to ensure consistency in safety processes across our operations. This includes adhering to all CDC and local guidelines as they relate to COVID-19.

The foundation of our health and safety programs at individual sites is ensured through compliance with local regulations, and by conducting risk assessments of tasks performed. We develop safe operating procedures; and provide new hire safety orientations, job training, and training for specific topics, such as ergonomics, electrical and chemical safety, among others.
