Castleton Ranch Horse Rescue Inc., has been pro-active in saving many lives since our operation began in 2004. We provide rescue, rehabilitation and lifetime sanctuary for horses who are at risk of needless slaughter, have been the victims of inhumane care and abuse, unwanted and abandoned by their owners and those horses who are up in years and have nowhere to go. Thanks to the wonderful support we have gratefully received, we are providing a caring, loving and peaceful home to many horses at our two beautiful rescue sanctuaries in Southern California. At any one time we have between 60 and 85 horses between both ranches.
